In the second of three poster ads, ORSO was asked to create a fictional airliner crash, in a hyperrealistic and dramatic scenario.
A full scale Airbus A380 was modeled, then broken apart at various points where the vehicle needed to hit the asphalt strip.
The various render passes were combined with photographic live action footage of explosions, 3D smoke and debree, seats, metal structures and other small elements were also planted in this final retouch composite in order to acheive the final result.
